About Boulder Administration Service
MISSION STATEMENT:

To provide quality services in the administration of employee benefits and to respond to employers and employees in a fair, prompt and courteous manner.

Boulder Administration Services, LLC. (BAS) was started in 1998 as a subside of Wagner Insurance Agency, Inc. located in Boulder, Montana. In 2001 the growth that BAS experienced made it necessary to split it off from its parent company and organize as a Limited Liability Company.
Boulder Administration Services is operated by Jackie and Bruce Wagner. Both maintain an insurance license and have experience in employee benefits. Jackie has an accounting background as well as experience in medical offices as a manager. Bruce has worked in the insurance field since 1993, mostly in the area of employee benefits. These backgrounds give them a unique perspective on the needs of agents and employers and enable them to provide quality products and service.

PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT:

We believe that each individual should be treated fairly and with honesty and respect.
We believe that our business should be built with long term relationships in mind.
We believe that it is our duty and responsibility to increase our knowledge, education and technical expertise concerning the services that we offer.

BAS PROVIDES WHAT EMPLOYERS NEED:

Compliance with legal issues - Our staff stays on top of all of the latest laws and issues to keep the employer compliant with all of the ongoing changes and updates.
Personalized response to calls - The purpose of employee benefits is to keep the employees happy, BAS believes that the best way to accomplish this is with a person to talk to, which is not always easy to do with an automated phone answering system. If it is necessary to talk to a machine, we try to return all calls within an hour.
Wide variety of insurance products - Particularly in the medical insurance line. For employers that are not ready for a self-funded plan we can work with many companies' products and set up a high deductible plan with a Medical Expense Reimbursement Plan. For companies that are looking at or already have a self-funded plan, our association with Intermountain Benefit Administrators in Denver, Co. gives us access to over 40 reinsures.
